Anushka is an actor as well as a producer in Bollywood. She is acclaimed for her acting, and has been named one of the highest-paid actresses in Bollywood. Nush is her clothing brand for women. In addition, she serves as an ambassador for the brand and is also owner of several other brands. Her work has also earned her presence in Forbes Magazine. Anushka Sharma is the daughter of Kumar Sharma (retd.) and Ashima Sharma. She was born in Ayodhya the state of Uttar Pradesh on May 1st 1988. Her father is a Colonel (retd.) The daughter of a household worker. The elder brother of Anushka Karnesh Sharma was a member of the Merchant Navy and now is an independent film maker. Anushka completed her studies at the Army School Bangalore. Mount Carmel College Bangalore awarded her with a Bachelor of Arts. Anushka holds a master's degree in Arts (Economics). Anushka Sharma wanted to be journalist or model and she did not want to be an actor. Anushka was enrolled into Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. In 2017 Anushka made her modelling debut at the designer Wendell Roricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was selected by him to be the finale model at The Spring-Summer 2007 collection. Anushka has been working with a variety of brands since she made her debut model during Lakme Fashion Week. She's done campaigns with Fiat Palio, Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry, and Fiat Palio. Anushka began to audition for film roles and enrolled in an acting school alongside her career as a model. Anushka Sharma's first acting role was in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The actress took a day off to practice for her test on screen and was unable to do an impractical version. Later, she signed up for three movies with Yash Raj Films. She portrayed an unwed bride and was married to a man of middle in age (the persona Shah Rukh Khan was portraying). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The movie received mixed reviews. Anushka played a role in a film known as Band Baaja Baraat starring Ranveer who played an American Punjabi girl from middle class, who establishes her wedding planning business. It received a favourable review and was widely regarded as an overnight to be a success. Anushka finished her deal of three films in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
